Most affordable SUVs with panoramic sunroof

Sunroofs are a popular feature offered by car manufacturers, and even panoramic ones are now available in mass-market models. The larger sunroofs do make a cabin feel more airy and let in more light. So, without further digression, here are the 10 cheapest ICE cars with a panoramic sunroof in India.

10. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Available from Zeta(O) trim

Price: Rs 14.28 lakh onwards

Maruti Grand Vitara

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets a panoramic sunroof starting from its mid-spec Zeta(O) trim. This Grand Vitara trim gets a 103hp, 137Nm 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild-hybrid setup, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. The lower-spec Grand Vitara Delta and Zeta trims can also be had with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The Grand Vitara strong hybrid variants get a petrol-electric powertrain developing a combined 116hp, mated to an e-CVT.

9. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

Available from G(O) NeoDrive trim

Price: Rs 14.23 lakh onwards

Essentially the Grand Vitara’s badge-engineered sibling, the Toyota Hyryder also gets a panoramic sunroof from its mid-spec G(O) NeoDrive trim. As expected, the Hyryder comes with the same powertrain and transmission options as the Grand Vitara.

8. Maruti Suzuki Victoris

Available from ZXI(O) trim

Price: Rs 14.08 lakh onwards

Maruti Victoris

The new Maruti Victoris offers a panoramic sunroof on the top-spec ZXI(O) trim. Since the Victoris is an Arena model, it is slightly more affordable than the Grand Vitara, which is sold via the premium Nexa outlets. Just like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Victoris SUV’s ZXI(O) trim has the same mild- and strong-hybrid powertrain options as the Grand Vitara. Lower-spec trims also offer a CNG powertrain.

7. MG Hector

Available from Select Pro trim

Price: Rs 13.99 lakh onwards

2026 MG Hector facelift price starts at Rs 11.99 lakh

The MG Hector facelift features a panoramic sunroof from one-above-the-base Select Pro trim, which comes with a 143hp, 250Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, sending drive to the front wheels only. MG has yet to reveal the prices for the new Hector diesel line-up.

6. Hyundai Creta

Available from EX(O) trim

Price: Rs 12.52 lakh onwards

Hyundai Creta

Much like the Seltos, the Hyundai Creta line-up was rejigged in 2025, with the addition of new variants. Of these, the Creta EX(O) trim is now the most affordable one to come equipped with a panoramic sunroof. It can be had with the same petrol and diesel engines available on the Seltos; higher Creta variants get the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.

5. Tata Curvv

Available from Pure+ S trim

Price: Rs 11.59 lakh onwards

Tata Curvv

The Tata Curvv coupe-SUV gets a panoramic sunroof from its lower-spec Pure+ S trim, which packs a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine generating 120hp and 170Nm, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Higher Curvv variants offer a stronger 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine developing 125hp and 225Nm, as well as a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel developing 115hp and 260Nm. These engine options can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

4. Tata Nexon

Available from Creative+ PS trim

Price: Rs 11.25 lakh onwards

Tata Nexon CNG

The Tata Nexon comes with a panoramic sunroof from the second-from-top-spec Creative+ PS trim. The Nexon stands out in this list as the only CNG SUV to offer a panoramic sunroof, in addition to its two petrol and one diesel engine options. The 120hp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol comes with 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox options, while the diesel offers a 6-speed manual and an AMT. The Nexon CNG is only available with the 6-speed manual.

3. MG Astor

Available from Shine trim

Price: Rs 11.20 lakh onwards

MG Astor

The February 2025 model year update of the MG Astor added a panoramic sunroof from the SUV’s one-above-the-base Shine trim. However, this refresh came alongside the discontinuation of the Astor’s 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine option; now, it comes only with the 110hp, 144Nm 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

2. Kia Syros

Available from HTK+ trim

Price: Rs 10.76 lakh onwards

Kia Syros

The Kia Syros  compact SUV offers a panoramic sunroof from its HTK+ trim. Since space is one of Syros’s core design tenets, it comes as no surprise that it’s one of the few compact SUVs to get a panoramic sunroof in India. Syros engine options comprise a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel mill producing 116hp and 250Nm and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol that’s good for 120hp and 172Nm. Transmission options for the Syros include a 6-speed manual as standard – the petrol can also be optioned with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the diesel can be had with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic.

1. Mahindra XUV 3XO

Available from RevX A trim

Price: Rs 10.75 lakh onwards

Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX A

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is currently the most affordable SUV with a panoramic sunroof, thanks to the RevX trim line launched in July 2025, starting at Rs 10.75 lakh. In the RevX A form, the XUV 3XO is powered by a 131hp, 230Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter automatic. There’s also a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel unit that develops 117hp and 300Nm, available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.

Prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.
