Discounts of up to Rs 50,000 on Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Ciaz and Baleno this month

    Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 in February for its Nexa model line-up. Interested customers can avail exchange offers, cash discounts and corporate benefits on both the MY22 (Model Year 2022) and MY23 (Model Year 2023) Ignis, Ciaz and Baleno.

    Maruti Suzuki Ignis

    Benefits of up to Rs 50,000

    The entry-level product in Maruti's current Nexa line-up, the Ignis hatchback, is available with attractive discounts for both 2022 and 2023 manufacturing years. Nexa dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 depending on model and variant selected. The manual gearbox-equipped Ignis gets cash discounts of around Rs 25,000 and other benefits totalling Rs 25,000. The Ignis automatic gets discounts of around Rs 19,000, including multiple offers and also has a seperate corporate discount of Rs 4,000.

    The Ignis, which rivals the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the recently updated Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Tata Tiago, is powered by a sole 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

    Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 

    Benefits of up to Rs 40,000

    Currently the oldest model in the Nexa line-up, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz gets a discount of up to Rs 40,000 on both manual and automatic variants. For the MY22 model, customers can avail cash discounts worth Rs 10,000, exchange offers worth Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, MY2023 models get a total discount of Rs 30,000, which includes exchange discounts worth Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.

    The Ciaz is powered by a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine that is paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic. The Ciaz rivals midsize sedans like the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus and the Hyundai Verna.

    Maruti Suzuki Baleno

    Benefits of up to Rs 15,000

    Maruti Suzuki is offering a total discount of Rs 15,000 on the Baleno manual, with the automatic and CNG variants not getting any discounts. The cash discount is available on both the MY22 and MY23 Baleno units.

    Launched back in February 2022, the Baleno is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and takes on other premium hatchbacks like the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza.

    Maruti Suzuki: upcoming plans

    The brand recently unveiled the Fronx coupe SUV and the Jimny 5-door at the Auto Expo 2023. The bookings for both the Fronx and the Jimny have already opened for a token amount of Rs 11,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively. The Jimny 5-door is expected to go on sale in May 2023 and is likely to be priced around Rs 12 lakh, while the Fronx will be launched in April at an expected price range of Rs 8 lakh-11 lakh.
