Sir, I am planning to purchase a new car with a budget of Rs. 13 lakh. My major running is within the city, accounting for around 90% of my usage, with a daily drive of approximately 20 km. I am confused about whether to go for an automatic or manual transmission. My preferred car brands, in order, are Skoda, Volkswagen, Toyota, Kia, MG, and lastly, Maruti Suzuki. Please suggest which brand and car would be the best choice for me.

I currently own a 2016 Mercedes E250 CDI Edition E. The car is soon to complete 10 years, and we are looking for an upgrade. We are interested in buying the GLS. The car will run in a city and on a highway mix. We are not interested in the petrol engine, considering the low mileage. So the 450D becomes the natural option for us. But does it make sense to spend 1.6 crore on a diesel engine car in 2026, considering future conditions and also the possibility of a significant decrease in resale value if govt brings out some stringent policies on diesel cars?

I have an Audi Q3 (that I want to replace) and an Innova. My budget is Rs. 1.3 crore (on-road), and I use my car mainly for city driving, with an average speed of 20 kph. I need a car that delivers a minimum mileage of 10 kpl, is easy to manoeuvre, and has features like a powered tailgate and ventilated seats.

My budget is Rs. 12 lakh (on-road). I am looking for a 5-seater petrol or CNG car with a manual transmission, good ground clearance, and a city mileage of around 16kpl. My annual usage is around 18,000km, of which 15,000km will be in the city and 3,000km on the highway. I want a car that is hassle-free to maintain for the next 10 years and will be used for daily commuting with three people seated in the rear.

I am 62 years old and drive around 1,000km a month. I currently own a 6-year-old Maruti Suzuki Baleno and now want to buy what will likely be my last car. Please suggest the best option. My priorities are fuel efficiency, low maintenance, ease of driving and a budget of around 10 lakh.
