Honda ZR-V
Based on the Honda Architecture (HA) that underpins the Civic and CR-V, the Honda ZR-V is planned as the brand’s next midsize SUV for India. Estimated to be launched in the country in late 2026, the Honda ZR-V is similar in size to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. In terms of pricing, the ZR-V will likely rival the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan as it will be a full import, perhaps limited in its allocation and priced from around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the upcoming Honda ZR-V could be a hybridised 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 180hp, mated to an e-CVT gearbox. While the ZR-V was introduced in 2022, it has not yet received a major facelift, neither inside nor out. However, the Honda ZR-V looks contemporary yet sporty on the outside while featuring a minimalistic interior with seating for up to five occupants, with soft contours and sleek LED lights.
