Nissan Terrano

The new Nissan Terrano is likely to launch in India in the coming years. Unlike the old Nissan Terrano, which was a midsize SUV based on the previous-gen Renault Duster, the new model will be a rugged-looking off-roader that will rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner.

The new Nissan Terrano is expected to come with a plug-in hybrid powertrain developed in collaboration with Chinese carmaker Dongfeng. Details surrounding the new Nissan Terrano’s PHEV powertrain have not been disclosed yet.

The concept previewing the new Terrano looks boxy and muscular, with rectangular LED headlights, illuminated ‘NISSAN’ lettering, chunky bumpers, lots of driving lights, a big roof rail, vertically-oriented LED tail-lamps, alloy wheels shod in off-road tyres, and more.
