Hyundai Bayon
The Hyundai Bayon is a crossover SUV that is sold in markets abroad. However, for India, a compact SUV based on the Bayon's underpinnings is in the works. Codenamed the Bc4i, the compact SUV will slot between the Exter and the Venue SUVs.
The Bayon-based compact SUV will get Hyundai's new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and likely feature a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as well. It could possibly get a petrol-hybrid powertrain as well, with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The Hyundai Bayon-based compact SUV is expected to be in the price range of Rs 7 lakh to Rs 15 lakh ex-showroom
The Bayon-based compact SUV will take on rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
