Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is the baby avatar of the bigger Land Cruiser model, which is slated to be launched in India by the end of 2028. It has been showcased publicly at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The 2028 Land Cruiser FJ price is expected to start from ₹30 lakh, ex-showroom.

The variant-wise information of the upcoming Toyota SUV is yet to be fully revealed. However, it is expected to be offered with 3 engine options: a 163hp, 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with strong hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options also expected to be introduced later, all mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and part-time 4WD system.

The upcoming Land Cruiser FJ mileage is yet to be revealed. The 2028 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ will rival the Mahindra Scorpio N (top 4X4 trims), Jeep Compass, and the Tata Safari.

• The interior features a utilitarian, functional design similar to the Land Cruiser Prado, with large grab handles and physical controls.
• Gets an integrated 12.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, a simple digital instrument cluster, and optional round headlights. 
• It is expected to be powered by a 163hp 2.7-litre petrol engine (at launch) and features a rugged IMV ladder-frame platform with part-time 4WD.
• It will have a 215mm ground clearance and a 5.5-metre turning radius.
