Mahindra Vision X

The Mahindra Vision X is a concept SUV that was revealed on August 15, 2025, under its Global Vision 2027 plans. The Global Vision 2027 showcased Mahindra’s new generation of SUVs, based on the NU_IQ platform, set to launch starting in 2027, one of which was the Vision X, alongside the Vision S. 

The concept is expected to preview an SUV in the carmaker’s XUV nameplate (that houses the XUV 7XO and XUV 3XO models) or XEV brand (that houses the XEV 9e and XEV 9S).

While powertrain details of the production-spec version of this concept are unknown, it is underpinned by the NU_IQ platform that can accommodate petrol, diesel, hybrid and even electric options. The monocoque platform also enables a choice between front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) setups. 

Key Highlights of the Mahindra Vision X

• The production-spec model is expected to go on sale sometime in 2027, like the Mahindra Vision S.
• It is expected to be a sub-4m model with a wheelbase of 2,665mm, which is 5mm more than the XUV 3XO.
• It has a sleek exterior design with a split-type LED headlight design and a gloss black cladding that runs across its body.
• The rear door handles are mounted on the C-pillar, while the front doors get flush-type door handles.
• At the rear, it features a roof-mounted spoiler with integrated stop lamp, connected LED taillights and a black bumper with a silver skid plate. 
• The Vision X cabin features a layered dashboard design with a dual-screen setup and a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo.
