Mahindra Vision S

The Mahindra Vision S is a concept SUV that was revealed on August 15, 2025, and is likely to be launched in India by 2027. The production-spec model is expected to join the Mahindra Scorpio family, which currently offers the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic models only. 

The Vision S previews a compact SUV design, which is built on the manufacturer’s upcoming Nu_IQ platform that is compatible with ICE, hybrid and electric powertrains. 

The platform also supports front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) setups, and it is yet to be revealed which option will be offered with the production-spec Vision S. However, the presence of a fuel lid on the rear fender of the Vision S hints at its ICE roots, and Mahindra could offer it with the same petrol and diesel options as the 3XO SUV.  

The production-spec Vision S will rival the likes of other compact SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros and Skoda Kylaq. 

Key Highlights of the Mahindra Vision S

• Production-spec model of the Vision S will be the first of the four concepts unveiled by Mahindra on August 15, 2025, to debut in India.
• A sub-4m length and a 2,665mm wheelbase are confirmed on the upcoming SUV.
• It gets a boxy exterior design with pixel-type LED headlights, black bumpers and thick black cladding on wheel arches and lower edges of the body.
• There’s a jerry-can holder on the rear quarter glass, and the rear features a tailgate-mounted spare wheel like the Thar and Thar Roxx. 
• The cabin features a dual-screen setup, a 3-spoke steering wheel with a Vision S badge, and a mix of physical and touch-enabled buttons on the steering wheel.
• A panoramic glass roof can also be spotted on the concept model.
• The seats come with a dual-tone navy blue and black theme with what looks like a mix of fabric and leatherette upholstery.
