This Vision S can prove to be a massive success because of the following advantages:-
a. Length > Sub-4/4.3 meter (increases City Driving convenience)
b. EV + P + D engine options under 1500 cc (all the engines are a delight to drive in their respective classes and categories)
c. New Chasis (the most advanced and latest offering by Mahindra Auto)
d. V Good Ground Clearance
From the (great) looks of it, the vehicle holds a substantial height and will definitely give a tall and commanding driving position. If the manufacturer can take care of the dynamic driving experience by:-
a. ensuring maneuverability +
b. mid to high speed cornering, body roll (best possible) & vertical movement +
c. braking (front & read discs) & handling (nimble and weighs up fairly well on high speeds)
I really like how all Mahidra's vehicles drive right from the Thar, Bolero + Neo/TUV, 3X0, 500, Marazzo, Scorpio(s), 700/7X0. I have not driven the electric vehicles yet but I have even driven the Verito, Xylo & Rexton, haahaa.
The longevity and reliability are the key here like the Bolero and the Scorpio Classic.
Apart from the above expectations below are essential requirements which must be provided:-
a. Diesel AT - Torque Converter Transmission option over the AMT. The 3XO misses that and the Bolero does not have an Automatic. I feel this vehicle shall step up to be the modern day progression of both 3XO and the Bolero.
b. Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
c. Rear AC vents & arm rest
d. New screens from the 7XO
d. Plush seats (for comfortable long distances travel)
e. AWD capability (if someone can confirm this please) or RWD with LSD
f. Controlled wind and heavy speed noise and if they give g. top quality high output music system that's an added advantage + Insulated and UV cut glasses
h. Customisation options as shown in the concept as a true utility vehicle.
Vision S will be yet another success after Bolero, Scorpio(s), XUVs & XEVs. I am very excited and really looking forward for the launch of this car and I hope I get to drive this very soon.
