Mahindra has not yet revealed the name of the final car. The production-spec model is likely going to be a positioned in Mahindra's XUV or XEV range.
While details about the powertrains are under wraps, the NU_IQ architecture underpinning the Vision X can accommodate diesel powertrains, along with petrol and electric.
In addition to the Mahindra Vision X, the Vision T, Vision SXT and Vision S concepts use the NU_IQ architecture.
The Mahindra Vision X has two digital screens.
The Mahindra Vision X concept has a sporty, crossover-like design, whereas, the Vision S has a boxy shape. The Mahindra Vision S also gets a tailgate-mounted spare wheel and a kerbside stepladder, both of which are absent on the Vision X.
