Royal Enfield 650 models to get exclusive zone in showrooms

Royal Enfield dealerships across India will soon be partly redesigned in order to give the Interceptor and Continental GT 650 their own space. The 650s are the manufacturer’s most expensive models and they are gaining popularity internationally. With the separate space, Royal Enfield will be able to better distinguish these models, among other things.

This zone or showroom within the showroom will be a separate enclosure that will most probably have 650 model-specific accessories, clothing on display, along with the bikes. There may be multiple reasons for Royal Enfield to do this, but the biggest would mostly be to distinguish the models more efficiently in the showroom. The 650s are the company’s flagship models and positioning them away for relatively more affordable models, like the Bullet and Classic, makes that more evident.

More details are expected to unfold as dealers begin the work. The Interceptor and Continental GT 650 have a waiting period of up to three months at present, with the time period varying on the colour option selected. Simpler colours like silver, orange and black are available much quicker, while the ‘custom’ and ‘chrome’ colour options take longer to be delivered.
