MG Motor India and Zoomcar are partnering up to launch a new car subscription service. With this partnership, MG will be able to use Zoomcar’s existing platform and infrastructure to increase the reach and accessibility of its subscription plans.

It is also worth mentioning that MG’s partnership with Zoomcar does not impact its subscription programmes with Myles, and the carmaker will be working with both companies.

  • Zoomcar will run the subscription programme on behalf of MG Motor.
  • MG cars will come with subscriptions of either 12, 24 or 36 months.
  • The plans will come with enhanced customer support services.

Commenting on the partnership, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said, “It is a delight to join hands with Zoomcar for providing customers with an attractive monthly vehicle ownership proposition. It gives them a deep dive into the world of MG. They will now be able to experience the cutting-edge tech features of our vehicles before they finally purchase them. The subscription model will further make MG vehicles more accessible to all auto enthusiasts in India. We are confident that our partnership with Zoomcar will generate considerable thrust in the market.”

What subscription plans will be available with the MG-Zoomcar programme?

Zoomcar will be managing the subscriptions plans on behalf of MG India. This means all of the carmaker’s models will be offered with a subscription programme of either 12, 24 or 36 months, with monthly payments. As is the case with most other subscription plans, the longer the tenure, the lower the monthly fee.

What services will be available with the MG-Zoomcar subscription plans?

Under the subscription plans, Zoomcar and MG Motor will provide customers with 24x7 support for all bookings and vehicle listings-related matters. They will also offer enhanced customer support services, including on-ground fleet management, logistics support, vehicle scheduling, and more.

What cars does MG’s India line-up have?

As things stand, MG offers three SUVs in our market. These include the Hector mid-size SUV, the Hector Plus six-seater and the all-electric ZS EV crossover. It is also worth noting that full-size MG Gloster SUV is set to launch this festive season. MG recently revealed that the Gloster will get advanced driver assistance technology, via a teaser.
