Tata Harrier EV: what’s new?

With the introduction of the new Fearless+ QWD 75 variant, the Harrier EV now gets all-wheel drive in a total of two trims, making it slightly more accessible than before.

This version of the Harrier EV uses a 75kWh battery powering dual motors (one on each axle) for a total output of 313hp and 504Nm. It’s one of the more powerful SUVs in its segment, only second to the Vinfast VF7 AWD variant. Tata Motors claims a range of 622km on a single charge for the QWD 75 variant. The QWD variants also exclusively offers six terrain modes along with off-road assist and a boost mode.

The Fearless+ 75 comes quite well equipped with features such as 12.3-inch touchscreen, 6-way powered driver seats with memory, 4-way powered co-driver seats, and front ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, JBL Black 10-speaker audio system, 19-inch alloys, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, wireless charger, rear window sunshades and more.

However, it misses out on auto park assist, Level 2 ADAS, digital IRVM, under bonnet camera view, the larger 14.53-inch touchscreen, Dolby Atmos sound system, powered boss mode and powered tail gate, among others, that are available on the top Empowered trim.

Tata Motors have also introduced a new Seaweed Green exterior paint shade that’s across the entire Harrier EV lineup. However, no other mechanical or equipment upgrades have been rolled out on Tata’s flagship EV.
