  2. Owners need to contact the dealership to initiate the buy back
  3. Batman Edition is based on the BE 6’s Pack Three variant

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: What is the uproar about?

Mahindra launched the BE 6 Batman Edition and allocated just 999 units for the whole country. Limited in its availability, the homegrown automaker claimed that all of these units were spoken for within a few minutes of the brand opening bookings for the Batman Edition. With the unexpected arrival of the second batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition, barely seven months down the line, this USP faced dilution.

Mahindra then released the second batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition on March 6, 2026, and just like with the first batch, the second batch consisting of 999 units was also spoken, this time within seven minutes of bookings being opened. This is despite the fact that the automaker jacked up the price of the Batman Edition by Rs 70,000 over the first batch.

Among its terms & conditions, Mahindra has stated that this offer will only be valid for a period of 30 days, starting March 18, 2026.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition features

While it gets various Batman-related decals, badges and other exclusive styling details, the Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three variant of the BE 6. This means it comes with a 79kWh battery pack with an ARAI-claimed range of 682km, powering a rear axle-mounted electric motor capable of delivering 286hp and 380Nm of torque. Similarly, charging options come in the form of a 7.2kW or an 11kW AC charger, both of which cost over and above the car’s ex-showroom price of Rs 28.49 lakh.
