Tata Harrier EV Specifications - User Reviews
Tata Harrier EV will be a great choice with good range, performance, and unmatched road presence in the segment.
I recommend the Harrier EV for its highway ride and handling. The interiors are impressive, making it a great choice in this price range.
I own a Harrier EV top end stealth edition. The interior looks like a premium car with nice height and headroom. It has a grand road presence, but a few features are lagging. The sound system is next level. I didn't regret buying Harrier EV over XEV 9s.

I currently drive a Baleno and want to upgrade to a safer, more comfortable car. My budget is around ₹30 lakh. I need low maintenance and excellent ride quality. Monthly running is about 1,800 km (mostly city) with 1–2 long drives a year. I’m open to EVs - I test-drove the Harrier EV and liked it, but I’m concerned about body roll and Tata-related issues. Which cars offer comfort and suspension at par with or better than the Harrier EV?

autocar.india
Since you are open to buying an EV, the Mahindra XEV 9e is a good option to consider. Ride comfort at low speeds isn't quite as good as the Harrier EV, but the Mahindra car does feel more composed at higher speeds. The XEV 9S has a more conventional SUV shape and comes with the flexibility of a third row of seats, in case that matters to you.

I am planning to buy an EV car for my daily travelling of 100 km on the highway with 3 to 4 passengers and 200 kg of luggage. I am looking for a safe, low-maintenance, and efficient car. Budget is below ₹25 lakh. I am confused between the Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra XEV 9S, and Maruti e Vitara 61 kWh. Please suggest or recommend any other option, considering efficiency and safety.

autocar.india
For your needs, the Mahindra XEV 9S makes the most sense. Go for the Pack One trim, but opt for the larger 79kWh battery pack. During our real-world tests, the XEV 9S 79kWh version delivered a combined range of 477km, but since your usage is primarily on the highway with four passengers and 200kg of luggage, expect that figure to drop noticeably. That said, your 100km commute should be no problem at all with the larger battery.Since you will be carrying a heavy load, you will appreciate the large boot and flat loading lip. The Tata Harrier EV, in comparison, has a smaller boot and a slightly raised floor to accommodate the rear motor. Before you make your final decision, do take a detailed test drive.

Hi Autocar Expert, I currently own a Tata Nexon XZA diesel and am planning to upgrade. However, I have a major parking constraint at my home. I am interested in the Toyota Innova Hycross, but if it is parked in my parking space, the doors cannot be opened properly due to limited space. Because of this, I am considering buying a car that offers an automatic or self-parking feature. Could you please guide me on which cars offer this feature and would suit my situation?

autocar.india
Auto parking might not solve your problem if your parking space is too narrow to open the doors. The summon feature that the Tata Harrier EV gets could be of some use, but it won’t fit your requirements if you need a three-row vehicle like the Toyota Innova Hycross.Instead, we suggest you take a look at the Kia Carens Clavis. It is narrower than the Hycross by about 45-50mm and is roughly the same width as your Nexon, so it should fit in your parking space. In terms of interior volume, while it is not as spacious as the Hycross, it offers plenty of room in the second row and a genuinely usable third row.

I am being offered a Tata Curvv EV Empowered Plus A 55 (Electric) variant at a discount of around ₹4 lakh after the consumer discount, Tata EV loyalty benefit and insurance discount. The on-road price comes to ₹19 lakh. The car also includes the November 2025 updates such as rear window shades, passive rear ventilated seats and dual-zone auto climate control. Is the Curvv EV worth it at this price, or should I go for the Harrier EV? I also own a Punch EV, but it is not sufficient for highway trips.

autocar.india
Sure, the discounted price makes the Tata Curvv EV an attractive proposition; however, the Harrier EV is a far superior car overall - it has a larger battery, its motor makes more power, the cabin is far more spacious, and even in terms of road presence, it does a much better job.Yes, on account of its size and weight, its range might not be significantly more (despite the larger battery) than a Curvv EV, but between the two, it is the Tata Harrier EV that gets our vote.
