Tata Motors launched the Nexon EV facelift in September this year, but dealers continue to have unsold stock of the pre-facelift Nexon EV in both Prime and Max variants. The carmaker is offering year-end benefits of up to Rs 2.60 lakh on these models which can be availed in the form of cash discounts and exchange bonuses. Do note the offers are valid till December 31, or until stocks last.

Save up to Rs 2.60 lakh on pre-facelift Nexon EV

Tata Motors is offering a cash discount of Rs 1.40 lakh on all variants of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, all variants of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Max are listed with cash discounts of Rs 2.10 lakh along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. There are, however, no corporate offers on either variant.

For reference, the pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime was priced between Rs 14.50 lakh – Rs 17.19 lakh, which means it can now be had between Rs 12.60 lakh – 14.60 lakh post discount. Meanwhile, the pre-facelift Max variants were priced between Rs 16.49 lakh – Rs 19.54 lakh, and subtracting the discounts, the applicable prices would be Rs 13.89 lakh – Rs 16.94 lakh.

Nexon EV discounts compared with XUV400 EV discounts

Incidentally, Nexon EV’s arch rival – the XUV400 EV – is also listed with very attractive year-end discounts in order to clear stocks of what has anyway been a slow-selling model. With benefits ranging between Rs 1.70 lakh for the lower-spec EC trim and up to a whopping Rs 4.20 lakh for the top-spec XL trim, the XUV400 EV can be effectively bought for a price ranging between Rs 14.29 lakh – Rs 15.19 lakh.

Post their respective discounts, the Nexon EV is more affordable for the lower-range model while the XUV400 EV is more affordable for the long-range version. However, for all its strengths over the XUV400, even the pre-facelift Nexon EV comes across as a pretty nice bargain.

Save up to Rs 35,000 on the new Nexon EV

Tata Motors is also offering benefits of up to Rs 35,000 on the facelifted Nexon EV, although it can only be availed on the mid-spec Fearless+ and Fearless+ S trim of both the Medium-Range (MR) and Long-Range (LR) variants. For reference, the aforementioned trims are priced between Rs 16.69 lakh – Rs 19.19 lakh.

Tata Nexon EV range and specs

As for specs and range, the Nexon EV Prime is powered by a 129hp electric motor and a 30.2kWh battery pack, and has an ARAI-certified range of 312km. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV Max gets a 143hp electric motor with a 40.5kWh battery and has an ARA-certified range of 437km.

The facelifted Nexon EV MR and LR continue with the same batteries, but the range is bumped up to 325km and 465km, respectively. The power output of both models also remains unchanged from before.
