Tata Motors is offering sizeable year-end discounts on its entire EV portfolio. We recently reported that the Nexon EV line-up is available with discounts of up to Rs 2.60 lakh. Now, we have details of the offers available on the Tiago EV hatchback and Tigor EV compact sedan. Just like the Nexon EV, these offers are also valid up to December 31, or until stocks last.

Disclaimer: Discounts vary from city to city and are subject to the availability of stock. Please check with your local dealer for exact discount figures.

Save up to Rs 1.10 lakh on Tigor EV

Buyers of the Tigor EV can avail a flat cash discount of Rs 50,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 on all variants. There are also corporate benefits of up to Rs 10,000, bringing the total up to Rs 1.10 lakh. Prices for the Tigor EV currently range between Rs 12.49 lakh-13.75 lakh.

The Tigor EV’s battery pack is a 26kWh lithium-ion unit that returns an ARAI-claimed range of 315km. It’s powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing 75hp and 170Nm.

Save up to Rs 77,000 on Tiago EV

The Tiago EV, meanwhile, gets an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 on select variants, but there’s no cash discount. Instead, buyers can avail a Green Bonus of up to Rs 55,000, which is essentially an incentive for adopting an EV. The Tiago EV also gets corporate discounts of up to Rs 7,000. Prices for the Tiago EV range between Rs 8.69 lakh-12.04 lakh.

The Tiago EV is available in two variants – Medium Range and Long Range. The former uses a 19.2kWh battery for a range of 250km on the MIDC cycle with a front axle-mounted electric motor producing 61hp and 110Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Long Range variant gets a 24kWh battery for a 315km on the MIDC cycle, and has an output of 74hp and 114Nm.
