Tata Motors has added a new variant to its Hexa line-up. The new Hexa XM+ sits above the Hexa XM and below the Hexa XT; and is priced at Rs 15.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Hexa XM+  gets a new design for its 16-inch alloy wheels, a soft-touch dashboard, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, climate control with a dual air-con setup, front fog lamps, reverse parking sensors with camera, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors. It also gets eight-color ambient lighting for the interior.

Priced at Rs 15.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) the Hexa XM+ is squarely aimed to take on the Mahindra XUV500 W9 variant that costs Rs 15.47 lakh and comes with a similar set of features.

The Hexa XM+ is powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, which is good for 156hp. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This variant does not have an automatic transmission on offer.

Tata Motors is now also offering the Hexa with an electric sunroof, which can be installed at the dealer level, along with a two-year warranty.

The company will launch the Harrier SUV in India early next year.
