New TVS XL 100 launched

TVS Motor Company has launched a new four-stroke variant of its XL 100 priced at Rs 29,539 (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu).

The new XL 100 is similar to the existing TVS XL Super, however, its powertrain is a notable distinction. It is powered by a 99.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine which delivers 4.14bhp at 6,000rpm and 0.64kgm of torque at 3,500rpm. The XL 100 can achieve a top speed of 60kph and has a claimed fuel economy of 67kpl under simulated test conditions.

The new four-stroke XL 100 has a dry weight of 75kg, a payload of 130kg and a fuel-tank capacity of four litres. The moped is on sale only in Tamil Nadu for now, and is available in five colour options – red, blue, green, grey, and black.
