Ather Rizta S and 450S prices reduced until March 31

Ather has announced a price cut on the Rizta S and 450S – the base variants of the respective models – with the revised prices valid until March 31. The Rizta now starts at Rs 1.05 lakh, whereas the sporty 450S starts at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

1. Ather Rizta now starts at Rs 1.05 lakh
2. The 450S starts at Rs 1.13 lakh
3. Ather is also offering cash discount worth Rs 6,500 across its range

Ather offering limited-time benefits

An extended components warranty worth Rs 3,500 is also offered at no extra cost

The Rizta is now more affordable by Rs 10,000, whereas the 450 S gets a price cut of Rs 7,000. This new pricing applies only to the Rizta S and 450S; barring these models, prices for the entire range remain unchanged. The move comes as the government’s PM E-Drive Scheme approaches its terminal date of March 31, 2026. Introduced in late 2024 by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, the two-year programme had a total budgetary outlay of Rs 10,900 crore and provided subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles, including electric two-wheelers.

Under the scheme, the government has been providing a subsidy of Rs 5,000 on the purchase of any electric two-wheeler for the past two years. Customers purchasing the scooters this month can still avail themselves of the Rs 5,000 cash subsidy until March 31.

Alongside this, Ather is offering additional limited-period benefits across its range as part of the campaign. These benefits include a Rs 6,500 cash discount, an extended components warranty worth Rs 3,500 and a Rs 10,000 credit card discount.
