The upcoming Konarc will be the first product based on Ather's new EL platform. It is also going to be the first Ather scooter to have a metal body. While test rides have confirmed the use of swingarm-mounted motor similar to Ather 450 range, the commuter electric scooter is expected to feature a handlebar-mounted headlight, horizontal LED daytime running light (DRL) on front apron and 14"/12" wheels. For connectivity, a fully digital instrument cluster is also included in this EV. Konarc will be rivalling TVS iQube, TVS Orbiter and Bajaj Chetak in the electric scooter market.
