TVS has finally revealed prices for its BS6-compliant Ntorq 125. The sporty scooter now costs Rs 65,975 (drum), Rs 69,975 (disc) and Rs 72,455 (Race Edition), which is an increase that ranges from Rs 6,513 to Rs 9,980, depending on the variant.

The Ntorq is powered by a 124.8cc motor that is now fuel-injected, producing 9.4hp at 7,000rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. In comparison, the Ntorq's BS4-compliant engine produced 9.4hp at 7,500 rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. As you can see, the BS6 engine produces the same peak power and torque figures, but at different rpms.

We do expect the LED headlight that made its debut on the Race Edition to make it to the standard versions of the Ntorq.

When compared to other BS6-compliant 125cc scooter in India, the Ntorq isn’t the most affordable, but it isn’t the most expensive either. It has a starting price of Rs 65,975, which is slightly higher than that of the BS6 Suzuki Access 125 (Rs 64,800). The Yamaha Ray ZR 125, meanwhile, has been priced at Rs 66,730, while prices for the Honda Activa 125 FI begin at Rs 67,490.

    All prices, ex-showroom, Delhi.
