Deliveries of the new Skoda Octavia RS will begin in November. "The Octavia RS is something that we will definitely bring to India this year," Skoda India brand director Ashish Gupta had confirmed to us in June.

2025 Skoda Octavia RS engine specs
265hp, 370Nm 2.0-litre TSI engine.
The fourth-generation Octavia RS uses the familiar EA888 265hp, 370Nm 2.0-litre, four pot, turbo-petrol engine. The same 2.0 TSI block is also used in the Skoda Kodiaq RS and the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Transmission duties are handled by a quick-shifting 7-speed DSG (or dual-clutch) automatic gearbox. Skoda claims a 0-100kph time of 6.4 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250kph.
2025 Skoda Octavia RS price expectations
Around 51 lakh.
Sources tell us that Skoda may price the upcoming Octavia RS on par with the Golf GTI, which is priced at Rs 50.91 lakh, ex-showroom. They also indicated that the performance sedan will be brought here as a full import and in limited numbers – likely 200. The previous Skoda Octavia RS 245 was also limited to just 200 units for India.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI price is as per the GST 2.0 tax rates.
