UPDATE: Ola S1, S1 Pro sales date pushed to September 15

Ola Electric has officially started selling its electric scooters, the S1 and S1 Pro, from 6pm today.

    • S1, S1 Pro to be sold in batches

    • Purchasing early gets you priority delivery

    • Test rides to begin from October

Ola Electric began accepting bookings for its electric scooters on July 15 and launched the models one month later, on August 15. For customers, the purchase process includes selecting a colour and variant, opting for a loan or paying in advance, and getting a delivery date. The Ola Electric website also states that the scooter will be home delivered.

According to the website, “the purchase window for the Ola S1 opens on September 8 for anyone with a reservation. Purchasing early gets you priority delivery. Also, the window stays open only until stocks last.” It also mentions that Ola will sell the electric scooters in batches and is prioritising users based on their dates of reservation.

The website also promises that test rides for the scooter will commence from October 2021 onwards. Cancellation, meanwhile, is allowed till your scooter is shipped.
