Audi India has just introduced its digital retail and aftersales platform and has also started accepting online bookings for its line-up. For now, the German luxury carmaker’s range in India consists of just three models – the A6 sedan, the flagship A8 L sedan and Q8 SUV.

The Audi A6 sedan, which went on sale in October last year, is priced between Rs 54.20-59.20 lakh and is only available in 45TFSI form – it is powered by a 245hp, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. It is offered in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology – with the range-topper getting features like Audi’s latest MMI system with twin-touchscreens, an all-digital instrument cluster (Virtual Cockpit), a Bang & Olufsen audio system, four-zone climate control and a hands-free parking function. The fourth generation of Audi’s flagship sedan, the A8 L, is available in range-topping 55TFSI Quattro form. India is one of the few countries that gets the long-wheelbase version of the A8, hence the L suffix. Powered by a 340hp, 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine and a 48V mild-hybrid system, the A8 for India also comes standard with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The flagship sedan focuses on rear passenger comfort, with a twin-touchscreen rear-seat entertainment package, remote control to operate numerous convenience features, and a massager-equipped footrest mounted on the backrest of the front passenger seat. Our review of the A8 L found that this Rs 1.56 crore limousine has what it takes to take the fight to the Mercedes-Benz S-class and the BMW 7 Series.

Introduced to the Indian market at the start of 2020 for a premium of Rs 1.33 crore, the Q8 is also only offered in range-topping 55TFSI Quattro form. Audi’s flagship SUV shares the 3.0-litre V6 mild-hybrid setup, 8-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive system with the A8 L. Due to just 200 units being available, Audi is sure to cash in on the SUV-coupe’s exclusivity, especially considering the customisation and personalisation options that are available with the Audi Q8. When we drove it, we found the Audi Q8's powertrain may not match its stunning looks, though the latter may just be enough to grant it a niche of its own.

Audi is in the midst of a range refresh and has a whole host of launches on the calendar. Besides facelift for models like the A4 sedan, and Q5 and Q7 SUVs, the brand will also bring in the all-new the new-gen Q3 and e-Tron electric SUV.

All these models will also be retailed via Audi’s new online sales and aftersales platform.
