Skoda Slavia vs Honda Elevate

Hello Autocar, I have shortlisted three cars: the Honda City 1.5 naturally aspirated, Honda Elevate and Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI. I am looking for a peaceful ownership experience and plan to keep the car for a long time, possibly around 10 years. I really like the Honda Elevate, especially the ADV Edition, but I keep hearing about its NVH levels. Is it still a good choice for long-term ownership? I also like the Skoda Slavia 1.5, but I am a little concerned about its long-term ownership and reliability. I have not yet driven the facelifted Honda City, although I particularly like its looks, especially in silver. Most of my driving will be in the city, in Bangalore, with a highway trip roughly once every two months. I do not drive every day and generally use the car for commuting to the office two or three days a week. Considering my usage and my priority of hassle-free long-term ownership, which of these three would be the right choice for me?

Hello Experts, I have come across the following option: a 2023 Skoda Slavia Ambition 1.5 TSI Manual (second owner) with only 10,500 km on the odometer. The car is mechanically bone stock and has been maintained exclusively at authorised Skoda service centres, with complete service records. It was last serviced in May 2024. It is covered by zero-depreciation insurance, an active AMC service package valid until 2027, and an extended warranty valid until 2029. The car also has a few tasteful aesthetic upgrades, including 17-inch Skoda Kushaq rims with Continental 205/50 R17 tyres, OEM top-spec Style projector headlights, a trunk lip spoiler, and black-wrapped front grille and trunk accents. The owner is selling it due to lack of usage. I have test-driven the car twice, and it seems to be in great condition. The owner has already shared all the previous documents and service records with me and is open to having the car inspected at Skoda or anywhere else. The first owner's details have also been shared openly. Everything looks clean so far. The asking price is Rs. 12 lakh. As a driving enthusiast, I am massively tempted to buy it, but I would like an expert opinion. I also have another option: a Honda Elevate VX Manual, driven for 16,000 km, with a single owner, priced at Rs. 11.25 lakh. Please help me decide. Hi, I currently own a 2023 Maruti Suzuki Baleno (previously an XUV300) and am planning to replace it. I have shortlisted the Honda Elevate Adv/Black, Honda City and Skoda Slavia 1.5. Most of my driving is in the city, with occasional highway trips of around 600-700km. I enjoy driving and like good performance. I really like the Honda Elevate, but I'm unsure about its body roll, and I've heard it lacks power. I'm inclined towards the Slavia because of its performance and looks. Hi Autocar, I am planning to buy a new car (currently using an i10). I am from Delhi, and my budget is around ₹15-16 lakh on-road. My daily running is around 30 km, with highway trips only once every quarter. We are confused between the Skoda Slavia 1.0 Signature/Sportline CVT and the Honda Elevate VX CVT. We are planning to keep the car for long-term usage. Kindly suggest which one would be the better choice.
