The Renault Bigster prices are likely to begin upwards of Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Bigster is expected to make its Indian debut as a larger, more rugged sibling to the Duster. Positioned as a robust and value-focused alternative in the midsize SUV segment, the Bigster could take aim at the likes of the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700. It could be available with both petrol and hybrid powertrains, including a 155hp full-hybrid setup combining a 108hp engine, a 51hp electric motor, and a starter generator backed by a 1.4kWh battery. Built on the CMF-B platform, the Bigster will offer seating for up to seven occupants and boast an upright stance with bold SUV proportions. Key features are set to include a modern interior with dual digital screens, recycled upholstery, ADAS functions, and practical elements like roof rails and body cladding, making the Bigster a rugged yet refined option for Indian families seeking versatility with a touch of modernity.
