Training day at Rajini Academy for Competitive Racing

Rajini Academy of Competitive racing (RACR) is conducting a rider-training programme at the Kartopia go-karting track in Bengaluru on June 11, 2016. The one-day event will be aimed squarely at riders of smaller displacement motorcycles up to 400cc. This would include scooters (100cc plus) and motorcycles of 100cc, 125cc, 150cc, 200cc displacement and so on, up to 400cc.

The event is open to all riders aged 11 years and over, as well as female riders. It would include all the skill categories as well; new comers and seasoned riders are all welcome to participate.

The Chennai-based academy has been founded by motorcycle racer Rajini Krishnan with an aim to train enthusiasts and experts across India in track riding and more specifically, racing. The programme will cost participants Rs 9,000, inclusive of riding training and refreshments. There will be a limited number of TVS-racing motorcycles as well as safety-riding gear available for hire on a first-come and first-serve basis. However, riders are encouraged to bring their own motorcycles and safety-riding gear.
