The 2026 F1 season kicks off with the Australian GP this weekend (March 6-8). 2026 essentially hits the reset button for Formula 1, ushering in what is arguably the most radical rule overhaul in decades. At the heart of it are all-new power units featuring a near 50:50 split between internal combustion and electric power, dramatically increasing the role of the battery. Changes also encompass active aerodynamics, sustainable fuel blends and a new Overtake Mode that allows drivers to deploy additional electrical power when running within one second of the car ahead (essentially replacing DRS).

For fans in India who want to catch all the action live, there are two options to choose from – FanCode and F1 TV. We break down all the available subscription options and their prices.

  1. FanCode F1 subscription prices range from Rs 99 to Rs 1,499
  2. F1 TV subscription prices range from Rs 1,840 to Rs 3,680

Next up is the F1 season pass, priced at Rs 899 for the full year. This includes live streaming for all F1, F2, F3 and F1 Academy sessions, along with full race replays. There’s also a Motorsports Pass for Rs 999 a year, which bundles F1, F2, F3 and F1 Academy coverage together with MotoGP.

Then, there’s an Unlimited Livestream pass that gives viewers access to all sports being streamed on FanCode. This is priced at Rs 199 for a month or Rs 1,499 for the full year. Additionally, new users can also avail a 10 percent discount on their first transaction.

This pass is priced at USD 19.99 (approximately Rs 1,840).

The F1 TV Pro pass offers ad-free streaming of all F1, F2, F3 and F1 Academy sessions, along with live onboard cameras, team radios and everything else covered under the F1 TV Access pass. This particular pass costs USD 29.99 (approximately Rs 2,760) in India.

For now, F1 TV subscriptions are only available directly on the official app and website. However, these passes will go live on FanCode later this year as well, allowing fans to purchase them using UPI.
