Formula 1 has renewed its broadcast deal with the Indian sports streaming platform FanCode. Under this extension, FanCode will continue streaming F1 in India until at least the 2028 season.
F1 TV will continue to be offered in India, but subscriptions will now be available via FanCode rather than the official F1 TV portal.

FanCode extends broadcast deal with Formula 1
FanCode acquired the rights to stream F1 in India back in 2024. F1’s longstanding broadcasting agreement with Star Sports, which also included streaming on Hotstar, expired at the end of the 2022 season, leaving the championship without any TV broadcast in India. Instead, F1 TV was made available here for a hefty annual fee of Rs 2,999.
The deal with FanCode gave F1 fans a more affordable alternative to watch all the live sessions, with subscription fees starting as low as Rs 49 for a single race weekend. Since then, FanCode has gone on to acquire the India streaming rights for MotoGP and DTM as well, offering a motorsport subscription bundle. The platform also offers regional F1 commentary in Hindi and Tamil.
While prices for 2026 haven’t been announced yet, FanCode does have an unlimited annual pass, currently priced at Rs 1,499. This includes access to all sports streams on the platform, including F1, MotoGP, cricket and football.
“We are delighted to renew our partnership with Formula 1 for three more years. This expanded deal firmly establishes FanCode as the home of all things F1 in India, and we’re excited to keep serving one of the country’s most passionate and fastest-growing sports communities,” said Yannick Colaco, co-founder of FanCode. “Fans have shown tremendous trust in our platform, and we will continue to deliver on their expectations, whether through livestreams, enhanced features, or curated F1 community experiences.”
F1 TV Pro, F1 TV Premium subscription via FanCode
F1 TV Pro and Premium will now also be directly sold via FanCode. F1 TV Pro provides access to live streams, telemetry, onboard camera and radio feeds, as well as documentaries and archived races exclusive to the platform. The more expensive F1 TV Premium adds multi-view, 4K UHD/HDR stream, and supports multiple devices.
India prices haven’t been revealed yet, but with subscriptions now available via FanCode, fans should be able to purchase them using UPI.
“We are delighted to be beginning our next chapter with FanCode after a successful start to our partnership in 2024. FanCode has elevated our broadcast for our passionate Indian audience, ensuring they are able to feel the adrenaline and excitement of a race weekend from the comfort of their homes,” said Ian Holmes, chief Media Rights and Broadcasting officer of Formula 1. “We look forward to continue working closely with FanCode and finding new, innovative ways to engage our fanbase in India and its subcontinent.”
FanCode will also broadcast F1 in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. However, F1 TV Pro and Premium will be available directly via F1 in these countries.
