The SecuraDrive CIRCL 90 tyre has a mix of 21 percent recycled material and 69 percent renewable material. On the other hand, the CIRCL 50 tyre is made with a blend of 5 percent recycled material and 45 percent renewable material. 215/55 R17 tyres were showcased by Ceat. Each SecuraDrive CIRCL tyre is made using 3 key materials:

1. Unified biopolymer inner liner: Simplifies material use, lowers manufacturing emissions and sets a new benchmark in sustainable design.

2. Glycerol-based accelerator: Replaces petroleum-derived chemicals with a bio-based alternative, ensuring sustainability even in the smallest components.

3. Anti-static silica conductive solution: Eliminates the need for conventional carbon black while retaining essential electrical conductivity and passenger safety.

"Consumers today are increasingly conscious about the choices they make, especially when it comes to sustainability...CIRCL represents the perfect blend of innovation and eco consciousness, and with this launch, Ceat is proud to set a new benchmark for sustainable mobility in India," CMO Lakshmi Narayanan B added.
