Is KTM planning to aid the RC 390’s clutch with a safer slipper clutch system? If so when?

The KTM RC 390 has caught my attention and I am planning to purchase the naked streetbike. I recently learnt that KTM plans to aid the RC 390’s clutch with a safer slipper clutch system. Is this true? If so, when will this retail in India?
Shree Pangarkar, via email

AAA Yes, the slipper clutch feature will make its way onto the KTM RC 390, although this could take a while. While there isn’t clarity on exactly when this will happen, you could say earliest by mid-2015, although this could be delayed until later as well.

Tyres take a hammering in just two laps.

Rajini getting suited up to take the RC200 out for a few hot laps of the track.

We use more than a dozen cameras in all to bring you the action.

Tyres get 4psi more each for the track.

Checking ‘the lap’ on the V-box software to check if we have all data.

GoPro gets attached to the hood of the Audi R8. You need to get a firm fix, else it can fly off quite easily at upwards of 180kph.
