Volvo has revealed the V60 Cross Country. Expected to go on sale in international markets by early 2015, the new Cross Country model will make its global debut at the Los Angeles motor show.

As the name suggests, it is based on the V60, which in turn is the wagon sibling of the S60 sedan. The V60 Cross Country gets a dose of ruggedness injected into it. It gets an increased ride-height of 65mm, high-profile tyres, front and rear skid plates, side scuff-plates, and black fender extenders. On the inside, it gets sport seats covered in black leather with brown stitching.

Mechanically, the front-wheel-drive V60 Cross Country gets Volvo’s new Drive-E four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The all-wheel-drive variants get the tried-and-tested five-cylinder engines - the T5 petrol and D4 diesel.
