Renault Duster sales cross one lakh mark

    Renault Duster.

Renault has put 1,00,000 Duster SUVs, its highest selling product by far, on our roads since its launch in July 2012. The Renault Duster was instrumental in turning around the fortunes of the company in India and was responsible for catapulting the carmaker to the list of India's top 10 car manufacturers.

On achieving this milestone, Sumit Sawhney, country CEO and MD, Renault India said, “Renault Duster has carved a niche for itself by creating a new segment and is the reference model within the segment. We at Renault are proud to reach this milestone of having crossed one lakh Duster sales and are happy that India is contributing significantly in the overall sales of Duster globally. We thank our customers for being the proud owners and helping for contributing Renault to reach this milestone in a record time.”

To commemorate the achievement, Renault has launched a 'Duster 1 Lakh' limited edition at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Stay tuned to our website for more details on this special edition Duster.

Renault sold 46,786 Dusters last fiscal year, a gain of 19.4 percent over last year; one of the few cars that bucked the declining market in FY 2013-14.
