    Nissan Evalia update now on sale

    Nissan updated Evalia.

    Nissan has launched the updated Evalia MPV in India. The Japanese carmaker had earlier showcased it at the Auto Expo 2014.

    On the outside, the updated Evalia MPV gets tweaked front styling in the form of a new grille with chrome surrounds and a re-styled front bumper. The tailgate also gets some chrome detailing and the alloy wheels get a new design. The interiors now come with a faux-wood finish for the top variant and there’s finally a lid for the glovebox.

    Mechanically, the Evalia remains the same and comes with a 1.5-litre K9K motor good for 85bhp mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

    Four trim-levels are on offer. The base Nissan Evalia XE is priced at Rs 8.5 lakh and comes with equipment such as ABS, EBD and brake assist. Also on offer on this variant is central locking and a 60:40 split folding second row and 50:50 folding last row seats.

    The next trim level, Nissan Evalia XE+, costs Rs 9 lakh and in addtion to all the features of the XE, it gets a 1-DIN audio player and dual front airbags.

    The Nissan Evalia XL is priced at Rs 9.78 lakh and comes with all the kit offered in the lower variants. It additionally gets a roof-mounted AC for second row passengers, keyless entry system, a 2-DIN audio system and front power windows with one-touch auto down feature.

    The Nissan Evalia XL (O) gets all equipment from the XL trim and receives captain seats for the second row as well. This variant is priced at Rs 10.02 lakh.

    The Evalia XV comes with an intelligent key system, 15-inch alloy wheels, a coloured multi-function display with a reverse camera and a rear wiper with defogger.

    The top-spec Evalia XV (O) gets second row captain seats with armrest, faux-wood finish on the interiors, the new-look chrome grille and chrome granish on the tailgate. This variant is priced at Rs 10.68 lakh.
