The 11th edition of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey was flagged on Saturday from India Gate in New Delhi, by Abhijit Singh Brar, head of marketing, Royal Enfield, after monks chanted prayers and blessed the riders.

This edition will have 72 riders ride through three mountain ranges and six passes including Khardung La, perhaps the highest motorable road in the world. The journey will carry on for 17 days covering 2700km. Motorcyclists will pass through Parwanoo, Narkhanda, Keylong, Sarchu via Kalpa and Kaza regions on their way to Leh, where the company will be celebrating the Himalayan Reunion on 29th June.

At the reunion, the riders get an opportunity to share their experiences, followed by a musical extravaganza. Various events and games around motorcycling are also arranged by Royal Enfield as a part of this reunion. Riders will then set out for Hunder on 1st July, and then commence their return journey covering Leh, Debring, Keylong, Manali and Chandigarh to finally reach Delhi on the 7th July.
