Mahindra launches Centuro Rockstar at Rs 44,558

Mahindra has just launched a new refreshed version of its 106.7cc Centuro motorcycle, the ‘Rockstar’. The Rockstar will continue to get features such as a flip-opened key, LED powered headlight and tail-light, and alloy wheels as standard.

The Rockstar comes with a built-in anti-theft mechanism that immobilizes the engine if intrusion is detected. Another unique system is that the bike's lights can be switched on using the ignition key, which will mostly get a button-like mechanism, to help find your motorcycle in a crowded parking lot.

The Centuro Rockstar continues to use a four-stroke, 106.7cc, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine producing 8.4bhp at 7500rpm. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a four-speed gearbox that shifts in an all-up pattern.

The Rockstar will be available in two colours, black and metallic red, paired with a combination of red, black and gold graphics.

It is priced at Rs 44,558 (ex-showroom, Pune).
