Ducati Scrambler bookings open in India

Ducati India has started accepting bookings for its Scrambler motorcycle in Mumbai and Delhi. The Scrambler Icon in red colour will be the first to go on sale here, and costs Rs 6.57 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) which works out to about Rs 7.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). We also have information that the bike will be launched in India by the end of May 2015 with deliveries starting immediately after.

We test rode the Ducati Scrambler recently and were pleased by its on- and off-road abilities. The Ducati Scrambler is powered by a 803cc, L-twin engine that produces 75bhp of power. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a chain final drive and it uses a 6-speed gearbox.
