Japanese two-wheeler giant Suzuki has revealed an upgraded Hayabusa for 2013. The Hayabusa still packs a powerful punch, with its tried and tested four-stroke, 1340cc, in-line, four-cylinder engine, This liquid-cooled unit generates a prodigious 197bhp at 10200rpm, with maximum torque output at 15.7kgm at 6200rpm. New on the 2013 model are radial-mounted, Brembo made, lighter and more rigid, monobloc caliper front brakes. The brake pistons are now larger in diameter, up to 32-32mm from a previous 32-30mm for more powerful stopping power and improved feel at the lever. Suzuki has also equipped the 2013 model with anti-lock brakes (ABS) as a standard safety feature for safer riding.

Expect the upgraded Hayabusa to enter Indian showrooms sometime in 2013.
