The new Zest compact sedan will be the first of an all-new generation of cars from Tata Motors.
The Zest's boot looks well integrated and the elongated tail-lamps look nice.
The Zest will come with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol motor and a 1.3-litre diesel as well.
Stretched headlamps look sporty and aggressive. The Zest also gets projector lights.
The Zest petrol comes with a 1.2-litre turbo motor, the first of Tata's new Revotron engine family.
Higher-spec models get turn indicators in the wing mirrors.
The front seats are big, and the driver gets height adjustment on top-spec cars.
The rear-seat backrest is reclined further than in the old Indica Vista.
The dashboard gets a dual-tone theme. The steering wheel is a bit smaller than before.
The Harman-developed touch-screen interface gets a voice command feature too.
The dials are attractive and centre digital display houses a comprehensive trip computer.
