Questions on an all-electric or hybrid Tata Harrier

I have liked the Tata H5X since the time I saw it first at the 2018 Auto Expo in New Delhi. I understand that it will be launched in January 2019 as the ‘Harrier’ and have a few questions regarding the car. When do you think they will launch the electric or hybrid versions? Should I consider these options looking at the rising fuel prices? What is your overall view about this car? Should I wait for E-Vision considering I am looking forward to electric variants?

AAA Tata has no plans to launch a hybrid or electric version of the Harrier. It will initially be available with only a 2.0-litre diesel engine sourced from Fiat. In other respects, the Harrier is very promising and will possibly the best Tata ever made, though it shares a platform and running gear with Land Rover.
