New Tata Safari or used Skoda Kodiaq: which diesel-AT SUV to buy?

Kodiaq diesel-AT came with an AWD system while the Safari is front-wheel drive only.

I need a 6- or 7-seater diesel AT with a panoramic sunroof within a budget of Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. Would you suggest the 2024 Tata Safari Pure Plus S diesel or the 2019 Skoda Kodiaq 4x4 Style TDI?

Autocar India says: The Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI was discontinued in 2020 and is rare to come by in the used car market. If you have sourced one in good condition, we suggest you snap it up as it is an excellent diesel known for its torque and efficiency. A new Safari, of course, has its advantages and will be cheaper to maintain, but its driving pleasure cannot match that of the Kodiaq.
