I am interested in buying a midsize SUV and have narrowed my selection down to the Kia Seltos (GTX+) and Skoda Kushaq (Monte Carlo) top-spec variants. I like the Kia more as it has few features that I like – 360-degree camera, air purifier and HUD – but also like the power and digital dashboard of Skoda Kushaq. I drive 40km to office on weekdays and go for long drives in the weekend. Which is better?

Autocar India says: It’s a tough choice. The Seltos, as you’ve said, has some really good features, but the Kushaq is nicer to drive. Given your driving pattern, which includes highways and long drives, we would lean towards the Kushaq as it’s absolutely brilliant as a highway car. It feels utterly planted at high speeds and the 150hp, 1.5 litre turbo-petrol engine is far superior to the Seltos’ 1.4 turbo.
