I want to buy a premium luxury SUV and my budget is Rs 1 crore. My shortlist includes the Volvo XC90, the Range Rover Discovery HSE luxury petrol and the Range Rover Velar.

AAA It really depends on your requirements. If you want a genuine seven-seater with lots of space then the Discovery is your best choice. It’s very comfortable and refined, and is brilliant on rough roads. The XC90 Inscription gives you the economy of diesel but the engine isn’t as refined as a petrol, and it’s not as spacious as the Discovery. The Velar is the one to buy for its design, both inside and out. It’s one of the best-looking SUVs around and is great to drive too. It’s not as spacious as the others though and is a five-seater. So take your pick!
