Buying a new car with a Rs 20 lakh budget

I am currently driving a 2006 Honda City and want to change to a petrol-automatic sedan or an SUV under Rs 20 lakh. My driving is mostly in the city and occasionally on the highway. Aftersales and dependability are also important to me. I am confused between the Hyundai Creta, Honda City, and a Jeep Compass.

AAA - We would recommend going for the recently launched Kia Seltos. If you have the budget, you could look at the sportiest GT variant that is powered by a 1.4 turbo-petrol engine, mated to a 7-speed twin-clutch gearbox. The fuel consumption may be a bit high but since you are driving mainly in the city you shouldn’t feel too much of a pinch. This would be a good city and highway car as well.
