Buying a compact SUV in a budget of Rs 12 lakhs

Please advice if I should buy one now and if there any newer models arriving?

I am looking forward to buying a mini-SUV within a budget of Rs 12 lakh. Due to the current lockdown, I am confused whether to buy one now or later? Also, should I wait for new launches?

In the lockdown, it is difficult to take delivery of your car, but while you are at home, you can browse several sites, especially ours (www.autocarindia.com) to narrow down your choice. We feel that if you are set to buy an SUV, you should do it as soon as the lockdown opens because then there will be a good level of discounting from dealers and manufacturers to kick-start sales. For your budget, we would recommend the Hyundai Venue 1.0 DCT, which is really nice to drive and fairly efficient too.
