Buy Volkswagen Tiguan or wait for upcoming VW Tayron, next-gen Kodiaq?

Both upcoming SUVs will have three-row of seating, and will likely be brought in via the CKD route.

Volkswagen Tayron vs Skoda Kodiaq vs Volkswagen Tiguan

I have a budget of Rs 40 lakh and want to buy an SUV. I do not like the Tiguan because of its lacklustre interiors, but I’m not sure if I should go in for the Kodiaq or wait for the next-gen Tiguan.

Autocar India says: VW is likely to replace the Tiguan with the three-row Tayron that was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show. However, the Tayron is unlikely to come to India before 2025. The Kodiaq, meanwhile has just gotten a new generation, and deliveries will begin in second half of this year. We feel the Kodiaq is a better option and will come to you quicker.
