I have Xuv700 mx 5 seater diesel under company owned car policy. Now that I am addicted to ther powerful engine and space of I have to switch to another automatic suv with comfort and powerful engine. Which car would you suggest on road price 25 lacs max

If you want to replace your XUV700 with something that offers similar power, performance and space, your best option is the XUV 7XO, which is the XUV700’s replacement.

The shape and cabin space are largely unchanged, but you get several new features such as a 540 degree camera, rear ventilated seats, 6 way power adjustment for the co driver’s seat, and an edge to edge digital dashboard with a third screen. The biggest improvement is the suspension, and the 7XO rides noticeably better than your XUV700, especially on uneven roads.

For your Rs 25 lakh budget, we can’t think of a better option than the XUV 7XO.

Daily 120kms up and down highway running. Planning to buy new face-lift tata EV punch or EV nexon. Is it a good BUY to save money. Have own house and parking. Have an old Nissan Terrano diesel 2015 around 1.5L kms. Spending around 20k a month on diesel. Planning EV to save money. What do you recommend

For your daily running and usage, an EV makes absolute sense, especially since you have access to home charging. The new Tata Punch EV is ideal if you are driving yourself and don’t need a lot of space. It offers a real world range of over 300 km, so your daily 120 km commute can be comfortably completed on a single charge without any range anxiety. Also, when charged at home, the running cost of an EV is roughly 20 per cent of a diesel car, which translates into substantial monthly savings.

I am looking for a safer car I have rolled up to 2 options like Skoda kushaq facelift and Volkswagen Taigun facelift but few things are missing in kushaq facelift like 360 degree camera and Adas Does it really need or we have better options than these kushaq and taigun has 5 star rating also am not looking for tata cars because of their service centers issue

The Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun are indeed good options, and the fact that they have a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP is a big plus. The absence of a 360-degree camera and ADAS is not a deal-breaker, and they're still worth considering for their strong engines, smooth gearboxes and excellent driving dynamics. Do note, however, that both cars are still a few months away, with the Kushaq facelift expected to launch in March, and the Taigun facelift a few months after that. If not those, you could also consider the new Kia Seltos. It hasn't been given an NCAP rating yet, but its smaller sibling the Syros has received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, and as the Seltos is built on a new-gen platform, we expect it to get one too. The Seltos impresses with its features list, which includes a 360-degree camera as well as ADAS with Level 2 Autonomous driving.
