•8wI am confused between the Sierra Pure 1.5 NA petrol MT and the Victoris VXI MT/AT. My priorities are safety and reliability, and my annual driving is around 8,000km. I have test-driven the Victoris AT and found it very smooth, but rear-seat headroom and shoulder room felt limited compared to the Sierra. Since the Sierra is a new model, I am unsure about its performance and long-term reliability. Please advise.

Autocar India
Purely as a chauffeur-driven car, the Tata Sierra 1.5 NA petrol MT is an excellent choice for its easy-going, refined nature and a very comfortable cabin. However, its engine performance is lacklustre, and the Maruti Suzuki Victoris will feel much better in comparison. Maruti's petrol engine is nicer, drivability is better, and it is likely to be more fuel efficient, too.
If rear seat space is your priority, you could consider the Hyundai Creta 1.5 Petrol MT or Kia Seltos 1.5 Petrol instead, which are more spacious than the Victoris. Out of these, the Kia is newer and a touch more spacious than the Creta, hence it is the one that gets our vote.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris
